The History of Mudallica
I was driving to Newport one day and saw this ugly thing parked out on the highway with a for sale sign. I kept on driving and pretended not to notice it so that Trina wouldn't have to fear I would bring home another 4000 pound chunk of metal.
Well, she noticed it and said something. She actually liked it! On our way home we decided to stop. I didn't have the cash-ola to buy it so I offered a trade. He accepted and I dragged this chunk of metal home!
But I changed it some
I immediately went down to KC Paint in Spokane and told them I wanted something cheap. They sent me to the back where the industrial grade paints are. The guys back there showed me the stack of customer not satisfied custom colors.
The one that caught my eye was the color the truck is now. It was supposed to be black, but when they painted a test strip it was purple. SO into the reject pile it went. I can't remember exact figures, but it seems it was about forty bucks for everything.
I used half on Mudallica and the other half on my old Porsche. So, mathematically speaking, this truck has a twenty dollar paint job. Try to beat that price with even spray paint!
Mudallica drivers...well, Trina is still a bit apprehensive of this truck but she has raced and placed in the old Bronco!
