Herbie 2009
For 2009 Herbie got a new Edelbrock 2.0 intake so he could breathe better. Also Herbie got a Cadillac 4.5 V8 air cleaner, also known as a poor man's snorkel. Wild Thang decided she needed to see better so the passenger side door was removed as well. Got a partial roll cage installed. Not enough to withstand anything severe, but enough to feel a little bit protected. New BAJA 12" wide alloy wheels replaced the old 9.75" wide chrome modular wheels. The other cool thing Herbie got was a new windshield that is hinged so it can flip up...pretty cool huh!?! |

Herbie 2008
Spring of 2008 Herbie came out sporting 3/4 ton axles with 4.10 gears; welded 14 bolt rear and open DANA 44 front. Attached at the end of those axles were chrome modular wheels and 44" Super Swampers. The body was broke in the springtime in Ione and the drivers side door would no longer latch due to lack of quarter panel integrity so the drivers side door went bye bye. Summer time the old 350 decided to go bye bye as well and a good running 402 big block was installed. Some big block torque really seemed to wake Herbie up! 2" wheel spacers were also installed to try to keep them huge tires from rubbing on the leaf springs on sharp turns. |

Herbie 2007
Herbie became more then a bucket of bolts and parts strewn around the yard. Herbie became a living breathing thing! Scabbed together with bubble gum and duck tape, Herbie made his first appearance at the Moyie Springs fall mud bog sporting 35" TSL Thornbird tires, 1/2 ton axles open front and rear with 3.07 gears, and a decent running bone stock Goodwrench 350 under the hood. Didn't perform too badly at all for a rig with almost no money invested! |

2008 is the year where I found myself single, good looking, and sporting an extremely cool ride. Got lots of cute girls to pose on Herbie.... seems Herbie is a bit of a chick magnet! |
